Course Offerings
The Career & Technical Education department offers 16 career pathways. These pathways include courses that will teach students the skills, vocabulary and workplace ethics to be successful in today's workplace. Many of the courses provide college credit, industry certifications, and scholarship opportunities. Local businesses look to hire NHS students who have completed the coursework in these pathways to be part of their workforce.
When planning your Individual Plan of Study it would be helpful to look at the articulation agreements that Newton High School has with Kansas colleges. These agreements allow students to transfer high school courses to identified colleges and receive college credit for the course. Click here to open the Articulation Agreements to see which classes would meet the college requirements.
